How to Pair Spotify on TV, Xbox & PlayStation?

Spotify is available on many televisions. Look for Spotify in the app store on your TV or set-top box.

Open the Spotify app on your TV, then choose one of the following methods to log in:

• Enter your Spotify username and password. Create a Spotify password to log in using your email address if you normally log in with Facebook.
• Open the Spotify app on your phone or tablet and use Spotify Connect to discover your device.
• Choose LOG IN WITH PIN. Then, on a different device, go to www.spotify.com/pair and enter the pin that appears on your screen.

• Chromecast by Google
• AirPlay by Apple
• Now Smart Stick 

Is the TV app not working?

• Check that your television is linked to the internet.
• Check your TV app store for any Spotify app upgrades.
• Make sure your TV’s software is up to date.
• Relaunch the Spotify app.
• Restart your television.
• Restart your WiFi network.
• Delete the Spotify app and then reinstall it on your television.
• Try a new WiFi connection if possible.
• If Connect isn’t functioning on Android TV, make sure Spotify can show above other applications. Navigate to Settings > Applications > Special app access > Override other apps.

Spotify for the PlayStation

Install the Spotify app on your PS5, PS4, or PS3 to listen to your favorite music and podcasts.

Signing in

Open the Spotify app on your console, then choose one of the following methods to log in:

• Enter your Spotify username and password.
• Open the Spotify app on your phone or tablet and use Spotify Connect to discover your device.

Your Spotify account is linked to your PlayStation Network account when you log in. When you connect to your PSN account, this immediately logs you in to Spotify.

Spotify for the Xbox

To listen to your favorite music and podcasts on your Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or Xbox One, download the Spotify app.

You can control the music with your voice using Cortana.

Signing in

While playing, pay attention.

When you play Spotify on your Xbox, it continues to play even when you go to another game. For the greatest Spotify experience, deactivate in-game music if the game permits it.

To manage Spotify while gaming, follow these steps:

• To access the Xbox Guide, press the Xbox button on your controller.
• Choose Spotify.

You may change your music, skip tracks, play/pause, and control the volume from here. Alternatively, use Spotify Connect to control the music from your phone.
