Bravo is a long-standing American cable television network. Like other TV networks, the company has decided to embrace and launch a streaming app that allows fans to watch their favorite shows on the go. The Bravo TV app is currently available for Apple TV, iOS, Android, Roku, and Amazon-powered TVs. However, iOS and Android-only mobile apps have been reported to have issues.
In most cases, Bravo TV app issues are caused by server-related issues. On the other hand, slow network connections, outdated software, corrupted data, or misconfigurations can also be to blame.
Bravo issues and its solutions:
Bravo TV is an online service and therefore relies on servers to deliver content and other features. If you’re having trouble accessing the mobile app, it could be a server issue. To confirm this, use a 3rd party service such as Up Down Radar to check the status of Bravo TV’s servers. If the server is down, you have no choice but to wait until the team fixes the problem. Unfortunately, server-related issues can only be fixed on their end. On the other hand, if the server is fine, you can move on to the next solution.
Sign out and sign in:
One of the easiest ways to fix problems with the Bravo TV app is to log back into your account. Recent downtime may have corrupted user data. This explains why the streaming service is not working properly.
After signing out of your Bravo TV account, please wait at least 2 minutes before signing back in. Then try streaming a random show and see if that fixes the problem.
Corrupted cache and data can also be the reason why you are unable to access the Bravo TV app on your device. In this case, clear the app’s cache and data to make sure the installation package is fine. To clear the cache on your Bravo TV, please refer to the following steps:
- In the app drawer, find Bravo TV and press the app icon.
- Then tap App Info and go to the Storage tab.
- Finally, tap Clear Cache and Clear Data.
- Then try logging into your account again to see if the issue is resolved.
A virtual private network is a third-party service that protects your network and data from malicious online entities. They will rectify your activity with their servers and help to mask your IP address to hide your location. To avoid issues, we recommend turning off your VPN before using Bravo TV or other streaming services. Alternatively, you can try switching to another provider such as VPN. Unlike other services, VPN works well with most streaming services and doesn’t block your connection.
Streaming content online requires a stable connection to avoid problems. If you’re having trouble with the Bravo TV app, it could be an issue with your internet connection. To verify this, run a test on Fast.com to measure your network upload and download bandwidth. If the results indicate a connection problem, restart your modem or router to reconnect to your ISP’s server. Unplug your router, wait 5-10 seconds, and plug it back in. Once done, run the test again to see if the issue is resolved. If not, contact your service provider to handle the situation.
If you continue to experience issues with the Bravo TV app, we recommend updating it to the latest version. There may be a problem with the version you are running, or it may not be supported by your server.
- Navigate to your app drawer and open the Google Play Store.
- Next, go to your profile and tap Manage apps and devices.
- Now switch to the Available Updates tab. Find Bravo TV in the list and click Update.
For iOS users:
- Go to the app drawer and search for Bravo TV.
- Press and hold the icon until the selection menu appears.
- Finally, tap Remove App (iOS) or Uninstall (Android) to remove Bravo TV. Navigate to the App Store or Play Store on your device and download the latest version of the app.
At this point, the only option left is to alert the Bravo TV team and report a problem with the app. Visit the Bravo TV support page and contact the team for assistance.
When reporting an issue, please include all necessary details so that the Bravo team can better assess the situation. This is a summary of the guide on how to fix the Bravo TV app not working. If you have any other questions, please let us know in the comments. I will be happy to help you.
